For over 10 years, Camila worked with ImageMagica, a Brazilian art and culture charity affiliated with the United Nations that develops social impact projects in health, education, empowerment, and the environment. Her time with them included producing publicly funded cultural projects on the topics listed above in over 20 venues per year, including public spaces, schools, and hospitals; organising workshops; producing five photo-documentary books and around 35 exhibitions across Brazil.

Camila’s main project with ImageMagica was a long-term worldwide photo documentary called Ubuntu, by documentary photographer and entrepreneur André François, for which she was responsible for the pre- and post-production of travel, logistics and events across 15 countries.

As a freelance producer in the UK, Camila has experience setting up multimedia exhibitions and briefing suppliers, working with organisations such as the Copacabana Palace Hotel and collaborating with the Brazilian Embassy in London, St. Christopher’s Hospice, and creatives like the Polish multi-artist Kamila CK and live music-booking and tour management agency Yoyomá.

She has also co-created FotoMantiqueira, a photo festival with a collective of artists during Covid times. In its first edition, they organised several online talk panels with artists, a photo award and an outdoor exhibition in the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil.

From 2014 to 2025 Camila supported the work of the British artist Marcus Lyon in the award-winning ‘Human Atlas’ series. A multimedia project spanning books, worldwide exhibitions, podcast series and digital platforms which highlight the stories of people who are changing their own communities for the better. Photography, sound, ancestral DNA and storytelling are used to tell the story of the changemakers and inspire future generations.

As the producer, she was responsible for managing the budget; putting together nomination processes to find and select the people featured in the projects, and coordinating over 1,000 nominations in locations around the world, such as Brazil, Detroit, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles. The last project of the series, Alta, was created in collaboration with the Getty Conservation Institute.

Camila co-curated and coordinated exhibitions in venues such as the British Consulate in São Paulo/Brazil, the Brazilian Embassy in London, and the LA Central Public Library in Los Angeles.
